In 2019, Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm is extending its Christmas market season to be the longest yet. Join in the Christmas spirit every weekend from 16thNovember until the 22nd December and visit Cornwall’s only Christmas market set on a working farm.

Now in its third year, Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm’s festive Christmas Market and tasting experience is set to attract thousands of visitors from far and wide. Experience one of Cornwall’s favourite attractions at its merry best.

As one of the only Christmas markets on an authentic working cyder farm, there will be stands selling festive foods and gifts, and a whole host of magical activities for children. This year’s event is set to bubble over with exciting Christmassy surprises spread around the festive farm.

The markets will showcase stalls of tasty local produce alongside Cornish art and crafts. There’s the opportunity to pick freshly cut Christmas trees and try the range of Healeys Cornish cyders, juices and jams.

Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm is a family-run farm located deep in the heart of Cornwall, near Newquay. Apples have been their passion for over 30 years. From bud to bottle, Healeys innovation makes them proud makers of an array of award-winning ciders, juices, wines, spirits and preserves.

A range of guided tours take you on a journey through the press house, jam factory, museum, distillery, and cellars, before climbing the cider vat and enjoying an aerial view of the modern cider production halls. Finally, the kids will love the tractor ride through the 20 acres of beautiful orchards with seven different varieties of Cornish apples with more being planted each year.

More than just markets, the farm offers a full, fun day out for the family. Cyder making tours and tractor rides around 20 acres of orchards run regularly throughout the day whilst the friendly farm animals, including donkeys, pigs, goats, ponies and shire horses are a favourite for little ones to meet.

Each Sunday afternoon enjoy a famous Healeys Sunday roast in The Old Bottlery with sounds of Cornish carols coming from local choirs.

After undergoing a £3.5 million development, visitors to the farm can now enjoy the visitor centre, production halls, The Old Bottlery Restaurant and the contemporary and stylishly designed Mowhay Tea Rooms.

Note, it is not just cyder that excites the team at Healeys as it is also Cornwall’s first distillery for 300 years. Visitors can sample from the spirit master counter where they will find the finest oak infused flavours of Healeys’ innovative Classic Whiskey, the double-distilled purity of its Classic Eau de Vie, or the rich, deep flavour of its ground-breaking Classic Brandy.

Entry to the farm, Christmas markets and parking is free all year round. Charges apply for tours and tractor rides.
